Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Reed Money!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Riley!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Riley with that takedown attempt.

Money gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Money can't keep his opponent in guard - Riley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Riley seems to be working for a kimura but Money defends the submission attempt.
Money tries to roll over but Riley keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Riley is trying to control. Money wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Riley is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Money sees it coming and defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Riley is controlling the pace.

Riley seems to be working for a kimura but Money defends the submission attempt.
Money has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Riley is working away from the top position though.
Money holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Riley keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Riley wants to work for an arm triangle but Money is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Riley decides to stand up.
Riley with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Money to score with a decent uppercut.


It looks like Tony Riley has been cut.
Riley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Donk. Money catches Riley right on the button with a cross.

Money drops Riley with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Riley looks back up at him and smiles so Money waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Riley is rocked!
Money darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Riley's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Money before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Reed Money!
In his post fight interview, Reed Money started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
