Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aleks Breznhev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Watsz Mawe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breznhev comes to the cage accompanied by Death Grips - No Love. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Aleks Breznhev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Watsz Mawe!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Mawe.
Breznhev scores with a nice right hand.
Breznhev swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mawe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Breznhev drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mawe looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Breznhev has picked Mawe up and slammed him! Mawe can't keep hold of the triangle and Breznhev manages to pass to side control!

Breznhev goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mawe rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Breznhev's guard! Nice work there by Mawe!

Breznhev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Breznhev wants it to stay on the feet.

Mawe drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Breznhev manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mawe has Breznhev in his guard.

Breznhev is nestled in close to Mawe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mawe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mawe holds on and takes a little breather.
