Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome LeBanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harri Soikkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeBanner's entrance music is Duran Duran - Wild Boys. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soikkeli checks a leg kick nicely.
LeBanner throws a head kick that misses.
Soikkeli fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
LeBanner lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Harri Soikkeli has been cut.
Soikkeli tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but LeBanner swivels and escapes.
LeBanner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from LeBanner there as he acknowledges the shot.

LeBanner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Soikkeli looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
LeBanner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
LeBanner throws a head kick that half lands.
LeBanner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soikkeli tries to clinch up but LeBanner circles away and keeps his distance.
LeBanner throws a sloppy head kick and Soikkeli moves out of range easily.
LeBanner tries a head kick but it misses.

Nice sprawl there from LeBanner as Soikkeli shoots in.
Jerome LeBanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harri Soikkeli.
LeBanner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
LeBanner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Soikkeli cracks the inside of LeBanner's front leg.
LeBanner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Soikkeli scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
LeBanner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Soikkeli working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
LeBanner is not content to let Soikkeli control the position.

LeBanner tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
LeBanner throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Soikkeli grinds an elbow into LeBanner's temple.
Soikkeli is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Soikkeli moves into full mount!

Soikkeli connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Soikkeli looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
LeBanner is trying desperately to improve position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Soikkeli lands a nice shot to the head.
Soikkeli takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Soikkeli lands with some vicious ground and pound - can LeBanner hang on?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome LeBanner dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Soikkeli fails to land the takedown.
LeBanner fails to land with a series of punches.
Soikkeli shoots for a takedown but LeBanner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Soikkeli looks for the body kick but LeBanner saw that one coming.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from LeBanner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Soikkeli has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Soikkeli and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Soikkeli shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
LeBanner is in a horrible position here. Soikkeli smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Soikkeli trying to control but LeBanner is having none of it.
Soikkeli has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Soikkeli is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. LeBanner is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. LeBanner flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Soikkeli anticipates the leg and manages to get behind LeBanner and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Soikkeli slips an arm under LeBanner chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Soikkeli has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Soikkeli is squeezing on LeBanner like an anaconda would it's prey. LeBanner fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harri Soikkeli!
