The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett rushes Snick and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Snick looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Bennett has Snick pressed against the cage.

Bennett is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snick is just riding it out for now. Bennett eventually gives up the hold. Snick is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bennett scores with a couple of nice shots.

Bennett attempts a counter takedown but Snick avoids it well and moves away. Bennett scores with a head kick. Snick tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snick tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bennett defends well and Snick ends up having to push Bennett into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
