Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lothario.
Tonkin throws a counter combo.
Lothario drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've been hearing that Lothario has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Lothario won't allow Tonkin to get back to his feet.

Tonkin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lothario controls the pace.

Lothario postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Our spies down at at BodyWorx inform us that Tonkin has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Lothario throws an elbow that misses. Tonkin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lothario's guard. Nice move by Tonkin!
Lothario tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Lothario has a closed guard, preventing Tonkin from standing up.

Lothario might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tonkin gets to his feet - Lothario follows without any prompting.
Lothario darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tonkin pushes Lothario off looking to stand but Lothario dives back in and keeps control.
Lothario takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Lothario is nestled in close to Tonkin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tonkin is rocked!
Lothario creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Tonkin is out cold and this one is all over! Lothario climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jose Lothario!
