The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St Pierre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St Pierre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. St Pierre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. St Pierre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

St Pierre is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jones can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
St Pierre lands a big shot there that rocks Jones but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
St Pierre is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That has opened up Tim Jones's cut even more.
