The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sorsa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Knight scrambles back to his feet.
Sorsa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

It looks like Repe Sorsa has been cut.
Boogie Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knight throws a right and a left that Sorsa avoids nicely.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Knight!
Sorsa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sorsa. Knight shrugs it off though.
Knight throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Sorsa to counter with a crisp jab.

Sorsa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Knight.
Knight misses with a two punch combination.
Knight tries to bum rush Sorsa with a series of wild strikes but Sorsa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sorsa lands with a kick to the temple. Knight shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A left lands for Sorsa.
Sorsa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Knight doesn't seem bothered though.
Knight takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Knight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sorsa.

Knight keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sorsa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Sorsa lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Knight backwards.
We've been hearing reports that Sorsa has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sorsa pushes Knight back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Knight is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sorsa pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Knight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Knight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sorsa.

Sorsa lands with a nice combination. Knight backs away looking to recover.
No joy there for Knight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sorsa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sorsa working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Knight's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sorsa is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Sorsa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Knight's head.
Knight wants to stand but Sorsa is controlling the position.
Sorsa loads up on a big left hand. Knight felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sorsa looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Knight can't hide his disappointment, as Sorsa celebrates the victory.
