Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Butler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris White ! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White connects with a jab. Chris White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from White finds it's target. White dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Butler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butler gets slowly back to his feet. Butler shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed Butler's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Butler fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Butler. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Butler doesn't seem bothered though. Butler goes for a double leg but White avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as White continues to drive forward. White now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Butler walks into a straight right hand from White .
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler dives in for a single leg takedown but White sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. White dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Butler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from White finds it's way round the side to connect with Butler's head. Butler shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nice shot lands for White . White lands a lovely overhand right. White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Butler keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from White . White fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Butler with a poor takedown and White counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Butler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. This has been an exciting period of action! No luck with that takedown attempt from Butler. Butler moves out of range of the strikes. Butler tries to counter with a takedown but White is quick to defend against it. White shoots in for a double leg but Butler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Butler doesn't succeed with the takedown and White counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by White .
That's three minutes gone in the round. White jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Butler walks away with a smile on his face. White gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Butler scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Butler goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, White rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Butler's guard! Nice work there by White ! Butler throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
White pushing down on Butler's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Butler moves into full guard.
White is in close to Butler's body, working some short punches and elbows. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Butler is keeping the position for now. Butler has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but White has passed into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler is not content to let White control the position. Butler is trying to improve his position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Butler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
White goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Butler rolls with the submission and now he's on top in White 's guard! Nice work there by Butler! Butler pushes down on White 's leg and manages to get into half guard. White gets full guard. Butler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard. White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Butler defends well. Butler looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris White dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Butler has his takedown stuffed and White counters with a lovely straight right hand! White darts in looking for a takedown but Butler gets double underhooks and turns White into the cage. White shoots in and bounces Butler off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. White content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Butler keeping full guard, as White tries to pass. White scoring with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Butler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Butler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler is trying to work for a sweep but White has mounted him! Butler tries to get back to half guard but can't. Butler is working hard here to advance position. BOOM! White connects with a massive shot to the dome!
White cracks Butler with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Butler is trying desperately to improve position. Butler takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. White has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Butler sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is nestled in close to Butler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Butler looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. White wants to work for an arm triangle but Butler is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Butler wants to get back to his feet.

White doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. White manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. White works a leg free and moves into half guard. Butler looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and White pushes past his half guard into mount! Butler can't escape the position.
The referee warns Butler that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Chris White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Butler's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Butler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target. White pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Butler takes one on the button. White fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Butler manages to avoid it. Butler changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. White throws a front kick aimed at Butler's knee but Butler avoids it well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White lands with a hook. Butler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Butler shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Butler gets slowly back to his feet. Butler sets himself, and White steps forward looking for the clinch! Butler avoids it this time.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Butler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. White looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. White manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Butler is working for a kimura but White is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Butler's guard. White cracks Butler with a solid left hand. White lands a couple of decent looking shots. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. White 's corner is telling him to maintain position. White landing with the ground and pound. White controls the pace of the fight for a moment. White wants to control from the top but Butler keeps moving. Butler is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Butler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

White trying to control but Butler is working from the bottom. White preventing the sweep. White drops back looking for a leg! Butler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Butler manages to kick White off! White jumps back into Butler's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. White scores with a decent looking elbow strike. White scoring with some ground and pound. White trying to control but Butler is working from the bottom. Butler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. White doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. White manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. White working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Butler's head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Butler is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jake Butler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Chris White is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Butler being controlled here, momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris White comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
