Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shelby Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samuel Ekoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ekoto has chosen Radioactive as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Shelby Wyatt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Samuel Ekoto! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Ekoto. Wyatt can't do much from the bottom here. Ekoto lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wyatt down.
Wyatt really is a fat lump. Ekoto tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Wyatt struggling a bit here. Ekoto wants to control but Wyatt is keeping him busy. Ekoto controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ekoto trying to control the action but Wyatt is working from the bottom. The referee asks Ekoto politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ekoto prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ekoto decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ekoto shoots in and bounces Wyatt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wyatt striking off his back but it's not causing Ekoto any problems. Wyatt is trying to control the position but Ekoto postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wyatt has his foot on Ekoto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ekoto works his way back into a safe position though. Ekoto wanted to stand there but Wyatt had control of the position. Ekoto being controlled here momentarily. Wyatt throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ekoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wyatt keeping moving, preventing Ekoto from controlling successfully. Wyatt wants to stand but Ekoto is controlling the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Ekoto fails with the takedown enabling Wyatt to counter with a crisp jab. Ekoto throws a head kick but Wyatt moves out of range.
Ekoto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ekoto prevents Wyatt from improving his position. Ekoto moves into full mount! Wyatt won't be happy about that! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ekoto looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wyatt is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wyatt is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Wyatt tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wyatt wants to hold on but Ekoto pushes him away. Ekoto controlling his opponent. Wyatt tries to hold on but Ekoto postures up. Wyatt is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ekoto looking to control but Wyatt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ekoto might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Wyatt haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Ekoto controlling from mount. Wyatt is looking to get to half guard. Ekoto looking to control but Wyatt is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wyatt wants to control but Ekoto is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ekoto wants to control the pace but Wyatt is squirming around nicely. Wyatt is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Ekoto dominated that round. That's time! Wyatt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wyatt tries to keep at a distance but Ekoto has taken the fight into the clinch. Wyatt has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ekoto after a bit of a struggle. Ekoto is pressed up against the cage. Wyatt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ekoto down to the mat. Ekoto avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ekoto is trying to pull guard but Wyatt has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ekoto is trying to trip Wyatt. He has hold of a leg but Wyatt is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ekoto persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Ekoto avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wyatt looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ekoto is defending well. Wyatt quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ekoto has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wyatt celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
