Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lemec Pacool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey McKee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lemec Pacool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joey McKee! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacool stuffs the takedown attempt from McKee. McKee gets slowly back to his feet. McKee tries for a takedown but Pacool sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McKee misses with a head kick.
Pacool gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and McKee counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McKee. McKee prevents Pacool from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacool trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. McKee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. McKee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pacool swivels though and keeps the full guard. McKee has gone for a leg lock! Pacool slips out almost immediately though and dives into McKee's guard. McKee looking for a sweep. Not yet McKee, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McKee is looking for a triangle but Pacool pushes his legs off easily.
McKee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
McKee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pacool uses it to pass to side control.
McKee looks gassed! Pacool decides to stand back up. Pacool steps back and let's McKee get back to his feet. McKee doesn't succeed with the takedown and Pacool counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Lemec Pacool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joey McKee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pacool tries to stand but McKee is controlling from the bottom. McKee has his foot on Pacool's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pacool works his way back into a safe position though. McKee is looking for a triangle but Pacool pushes his legs off easily.
McKee is trying to control the position but Pacool postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Pacool decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Pacool drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pacool knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McKee on the ground. McKee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pacool's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. McKee is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lemec Pacool will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
McKee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pacool is not content to let McKee control the position. McKee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McKee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pacool is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McKee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McKee tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McKee has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKee is looking to take a break and control but Pacool is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McKee prevents Pacool from escaping the position. McKee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pacool, who protects the arm well. McKee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pacool, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKee trying to control the position but Pacool is working away. Pacool parries the strikes from McKee easily there. McKee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pacool to escape.
McKee works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKee trying to control the action but Pacool is working from the bottom. McKee is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pacool looks calm but he's in trouble here. McKee gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pacool is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! McKee lets go of the hold and Pacool can pop his arm back in it's socket.
