Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wilbur Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevon Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wilbur Mack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevon Good!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mack sprawls well initially but Good persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mack wants to improve his position but Good is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mack has hold of Good's hands but Good slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Good takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mack is staying active underneath Good, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Good trying to pass the guard but Mack defending well.
Good seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Good is looking to take a break and control but Mack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Good is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mack is looking to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Good not doing much here.
Good wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mack keeps working.
Mack makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mack.
Mack wants to stand up but Good is controlling him.
Good slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Good cracks Mack with a solid left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Good trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Good stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Good clinches.

Good wants the takedown. Mack is fighting it off but Good persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mack's guard against the cage.

Mack scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Good circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mack moves in looking to clinch but Good pushes him off.
Good exchange - Mack coming out on top.
Mack really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Good throws a right hand that Mack ducks under and follows up with a left that Mack also avoids with ease.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good tries to land a front kick but Mack steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Good has Mack up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mack - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Mack has hold of one of Good's legs. Good is fighting the takedown attempt but Mack gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Mack is standing up over Good. Good looks to escape but Mack dives into side control.

Good can't do much from the bottom here.
Mack misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Mack tries for a kimura but Good is defending well.
Good is trying to get back to his feet.
Good struggling a bit here.
Good manages to get back to half guard.
Good keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trevon Good will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Good tries to clinch up but Mack circles away and keeps his distance.
Good throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

so Mack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Good is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Mack throws a big right hand that misses.
Mack wants to control from the top but Good keeps moving.

Good has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good managing to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mack postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Good is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mack shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mack is standing up over Good. Good looks to escape but Mack dives into side control.

Mack landing strikes.
Wilbur Mack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mack is staying tight to Good's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Good manages to get back to half guard.

Mack is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Good doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mack.
Mack prevents Good from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Mack.
Mack wants to stand but Good has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mack stopping the sweep attempt from Good.
Good wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Mack is now in half guard.
Good preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Good tries to roll over but Mack keeps him under control.
Good is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Mack throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Good manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Good tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilbur Mack dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Good tries to keep at a distance but Mack has taken the fight into the clinch.
Good being controlled against the cage.
Mack is trying to break free.

Good has Mack pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Good pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mack tumbling to the mat - Good dives into Mack's guard.
Good throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Good is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mack wants to get back to his feet but Good is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Good slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Good stops Mack from standing up.
Good trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Good slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Mack closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Good has picked Mack up - he's going for a ride! Good dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Good is trying to control. Mack wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Good stops Mack from getting back to his feet.
Good slows the pace down in half guard.
Good working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Good throwing shots but Mack is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Good is just content to waste time from the top position. Mack takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Mack looking for a sweep. Not yet Mack, not yet.
Mack keeping moving, preventing Good from controlling successfully.
Good looking to sit in guard and control but Mack gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Good wants to improve his position but instead Mack has moved into half guard.
Mack is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good wants to stand back up but Mack manages to pass into side control.
Mack cracks Good with a big elbow.
Good is looking for a sweep.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Good manages to work his way to half guard, despite Mack's best efforts.
Mack tries to stand but can't do so whilst Good controls his leg.
Good missing with punches from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wilbur Mack showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Mack has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
