Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Philip Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eff Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Philip Power had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Power! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eff Bomb! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bomb tries to clinch but Power is having none of it. Bomb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bomb misses with a double jab.
Power shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bomb's guard. Power working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Power lands a couple of decent looking shots. Power postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Power tries to free his leg and advance position but Bomb is retaining full guard. Bomb wants to sweep here but Power controlling him for the moment. Power throwing strikes from guard but Bomb blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power cracks Bomb with a solid left hand. Power seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Power working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bomb utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bomb can't keep his opponent in guard - Power advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Power thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bomb's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Power looks to land a strike but Bomb avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Power postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bomb utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bomb has momentary wrist control but Power slips an elbow through the middle. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Power with a flurry of punches that miss. Bomb will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Power postures up in Bomb's guard and throws a big left but Bomb blocks it. Power trying to control the position from guard on top but Bomb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bomb trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bomb throws a left that rocks Power and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bomb dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Power regain composure!
It looks like Philip Power has been cut. Power tries to buck Bomb off but Bomb is having none of it. Power manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Power makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Power. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bomb scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Power striking off his back but it's not causing Bomb any problems.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Power striking off his back. Power is looking to sweep but instead, Bomb has passed into half guard.
Power makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Power. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Power is on top in guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Power advances position into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Philip Power will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Philip Power's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Bomb tries to bum rush Power with a series of wild strikes but Power uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bomb fails in his attempt to clinch. Bomb takes a swing at Power's ribcage but misses. Power misses the jab. Power scores with a hook to the body. Bomb takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Eff Bomb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bomb misses with a few strikes there.

Bomb drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Power manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bomb really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bomb is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power throws a strike but Bomb avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Power advances to half guard. Bomb blocking the ground and pound attempt from Power. Power is stalling here. Bomb is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Power seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bomb has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Bomb throws a strike aimed at the side of Power's head but Power avoids it well. Power gets back to half guard. Bomb throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Power throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Power regains full guard. Nicely done. Power throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Bomb has picked Power up and slammed him! Power can't keep hold of the triangle and Bomb manages to pass to side control!

Bomb creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Power sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bomb cracks Power with a big elbow. Bomb lands a few punches from side control. Power sneaks back into half guard. Power tries to get to full guard but Bomb has control of the leg. Bomb not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Eff Bomb will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Philip Power's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Power throws some wild stikes that Bomb manages to avoid easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Power scoring with strikes but Bomb is staying in there. Bomb holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Power tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Power with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Power goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bomb is on top in guard.
Power looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bomb scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bomb must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Power wants to stand but Bomb is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bomb's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bomb stopping the sweep attempt from Power. Bomb working some strikes from top position. Bomb postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bomb lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Bomb throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Power works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
