Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maxxy Baby!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver darts in looking for a takedown but Baby gets double underhooks and turns Carver into the cage.
Baby scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Carver is trying hard to land a takedown here. Baby sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Baby lands a lovely overhand right.
Nice uppercut lands for Baby. That snapped Carver's head back.
A jab from Baby finds it's way through Carver's defenses.
Carver closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Baby looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Carver scores with a takedown into Baby's guard.

Carver postures up in Baby's guard and throws a big left but Baby blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carver definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Carver is working for a guillotine from mount but Baby frees his head quite easily.
Carver wants to control the pace but Baby is squirming around nicely.
Carver thowing shots but they're missing.
Carver throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Baby because Carver loaded up on that one.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carver sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Carver tries to control but Baby wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stanley Carver dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Carver is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carver shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baby as he jumps to the side.
Baby keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Baby circles away from the clinch attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carver.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Carver. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carver shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Baby to counter with a crisp jab.

Baby lands with an overhand left.
Baby with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Carver takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Carver takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

letting Baby counter with a right hand.
Baby swats away the attempt to clinch by Carver.
Baby scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carver doesn't seem bothered though.

Baby connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carver. Carver circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Baby's corner calls for a 1-2. Baby obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Carver is looking to clinch.
Baby is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Carver shoots and misses
and Baby counters with a straight right hand.
Baby fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Carver takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fighters circle momentarily. Baby darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Carver closes the distance and clinches up with Baby, looking for a takedown. Carver pushes Baby against the cage but Baby circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Baby jabs Carver right on the nose. Carver blinks but takes it well.
Carver tries for a takedown but Baby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice shot lands for Baby.
Baby dips to his left and cracks Carver with an uppercut!


It looks like Stanley Carver has been cut.
Baby has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A decent looking cross lands there for Baby.
Carver takes a jab right on the kisser.
Carver fails with the takedown
and Baby counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carver thinking.
Carver goes for a double leg but Baby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Baby continues to drive forward.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Baby connects with a right hand. Carver shakes it off.
Carver looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Carver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baby as he avoids it easily.
Baby let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

and Baby counters with a nice uppercut.

Baby punishes Carver's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Baby counters with a nice right hand that sends Carver toppling to the canvas! Carver scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Baby finish him?!


Carver is rocked!
Baby drops Carver with a huge uppercut! Carver drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Baby is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maxxy Baby!
During a confident post fight interview, Maxxy Baby thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
