6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Anderson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. King connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Anderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard. Anderson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Anderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Anderson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. King knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground. King controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Anderson is looking for a triangle here but King uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

King is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Anderson scores with a couple of nice shots. Anderson wants to take a breather but King is having none of it. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jab from King. Azeroth King is winning the standup battle so far. Anderson wants to clinch. Anderson fails to land the takedown. Anderson is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Anderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Anderson working the strikes but King uses the opportunity to regain half guard. King wants to control but Anderson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Anderson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anderson. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson is working for a submission of some sort.

King has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Anderson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! King is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Anderson pulls down on the head and he's put King to sleep! This one is all over!
