The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe slips a jab and a cross from Baxter.
Poe fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Baxter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Poe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Poe is on top in guard.

Poe closes the distance and clinches up with Baxter, looking for a takedown. Poe pushes Baxter against the cage but Baxter circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Edgar Poe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Nice takedown defense from Poe. No joy for Baxter on that attempt.

Baxter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Some bone on bone action there as Poe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Baxter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Poe's guard now.

He's locked it up tight! Baxter's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Poe picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
