With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Dickinson !
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dickinson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Dickinson is now in Jones's guard.

Dickinson cracks Jones with a solid left hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dickinson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dickinson is surviving well by controlling Jones's body position as best he can.
Dickinson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jones.
Dickinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Dickinson on that attempt.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Luther Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Poor strikes thrown by Jones there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dickinson is rocked!
Jones postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dickinson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jones around the waist but Jones pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jones is the winner by TKO! Jones jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luther Jones!
After winning the bout, Luther Jones thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
