Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hale tries to avoid it but Fitch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hale to the ground. Hale escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fitch gets a clinch.
Fitch prevents a takedown attempt there.
Fitch is struggling to control the position.

Hale fails to pull guard.

Hale drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allan Hale. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fitch is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hale can't fight it off and eventually Fitch manages to take the fight to the floor. Hale looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fitch postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hale in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hale to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
