Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Marfaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Handsome Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marfaker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rutten finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Marfaker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rutten waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marfaker.
Rutten has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marfaker finds it's way round the side to connect with Rutten's head.
Rutten throws a leg kick but Marfaker moved away.
Rutten checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rutten tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marfaker was well out of range. Poor timing from Rutten.

Rutten fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marfaker manages to avoid it.

Rutten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marfaker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Marfaker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rutten on the side of the head.
Marfaker throws an overhand right that lands on Rutten's shoulder, as Rutten tries to avoid the shot.
Rutten does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Marfaker looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Handsome Rutten has been cut.

Rutten will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Rutten throws out a loose jab but Marfaker uses good head movement to avoid it.

That was a close round but I would say that Juan Marfaker will probably get the nod.

Rutten tries to move into range but Marfaker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Marfaker circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rutten to the canvas! Rutten doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Marfaker keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Marfaker!
