Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don T. Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Blaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill and Master Blaster. Don T. Bill had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Master Blaster told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Blaster darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bill throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blaster moves away.
Bill takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Blaster listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Blaster dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bill. That did some damage!
Blaster with a nice cross.
Bill defending well as Blaster loads up on a big left hand.
Blaster avoids a kick to the body.
Blaster misses with a head kick.
A slow jab from Bill misses its intended target.
Blaster pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Blaster thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bill if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Blaster lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bill's sensitive parts.
Bill cracks Blaster with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Blaster uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

and Blaster counters with a nice body shot.
Blaster moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blaster can pounce on him.
Blaster blocks a jab.
Bill has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blaster finds it's way round the side to connect with Bill's head.
Bill is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Bill is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

and Blaster counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Blaster has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Blaster is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bill had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Bill looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blaster is fending him off so far but Bill persists. Nope, Blaster circles away and we're back to standing.

Blaster lands with a kick to the temple. Bill shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Blaster lands a big head kick that sends Bill tumbling to the mat! Blaster takes a step backwards and waves Bill back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Bill is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bill steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Blaster. That one must have hurt.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Blaster! Bill is out on his feet! Blaster rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bill is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bill is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
