Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between I Am (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Am comes to the cage accompanied by Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part II. Juan Koski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, I Am! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Juan Koski! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Am throws a quick inside leg kick. Am avoids the body shot from Koski.
Am seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Koski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Am looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Koski connects with a body shot that sends Am's belly button to the back. Am fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Am displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koski throws out the jab. Am moves out of range of the body kick. Am bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Koski misses with a body kick. Koski keeps Am at a distance using the push kick. Koski misses with a wild body shot. Koski throws a hook but Am blocks it. Am throws a shot from downtown. Koski moves away and avoids it. The fighters circling - Koski throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Koski takes a swing at Am's ribcage but misses. Koski throws the kick towards the body but Am avoids it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koski throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koski misses with a lunging right hand
and Am counters with a lovely straight right hand! Koski scores with a jab. Koski throws a right hand that Am ducks under and follows up with a left that Am also avoids with ease. A decent looking cross lands there for Koski. Am slips under a jab. Am shoots in for a takedown but Koski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Am lands with a right hand. Koski scores with a decent looking hook. Koski misses with a looping left. Koski connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Am's hands. Am throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Koski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A quick step to the side and Am tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Koski lands a nice looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Am avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A decent looking body kick lands there for Koski.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koski scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A head kick misses from Am. Am avoids the body shot from Koski.
Juan Koski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Am moves out of range of the body kick from Koski.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koski, as that shot connected.
That kick from Am tenderised Koski's leg. Koski is trying to keep his angry face on. Koski throws a head kick that half lands.
Koski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Koski moves out of range of the body kick. Koski defending well as Am loads up on a big left hand. A decent looking body kick lands there for Koski. Am bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Koski's head. Am throws a right and a left that both miss. Am bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Am shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Koski's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Am wants to control from the top but Koski keeps moving. Koski looking for a sweep. Not yet Koski, not yet. Am passes easily into side control. Nice work. Koski tries to buck Am off but Am is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Am staying calm. Am thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Am is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Koski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Koski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Koski tries to roll over but Am keeps him under control. Koski trying to control here.
Am is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Koski dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Koski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Am was well out of range. Poor timing from Koski. Am tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Am wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Am checks a leg kick. Am tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Koski tried to score with a low kick but Am checks it. Koski takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Juan Koski has been cut. Koski misses with a body shot.
Koski scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Am looks for the body kick but Koski saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koski scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Am looks to land a body kick but Koski moved away. Am lands a front kick. Koski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Am. Koski misses the body punch and Am counters with a nice uppercut. Juan Koski seems to be getting the better of the standup. Koski's corner calls for a 1-2. Koski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Koski thows a leg kick but Am checks it and Am counters with a lovely straight right hand! Koski takes a swing at Am's ribcage but misses. Koski connects with a looping right hand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Koski.
Am throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Koski. A combination from Am does no damage. A slapping leg kick lands for Koski.
Am will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Am fails to land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action! Koski misses with a right hand and Am counters with a one-two to the body. Am steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Koski.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koski thows a left - swing and a miss! Koski keeps Am at a distance using the push kick. Koski cracks Am with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Koski throws a sloppy head kick and Am moves out of range easily. Am takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Koski thuds his shin into the meat of Am's side. Am closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Juan Koski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koski ducks under a wild hook from Am. A swing and a miss from Am. Am throws a half hearted mid kick. Koski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Am takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Am moves out of range as Koski strikes. Am blocks a jab. Am slips under a jab. Koski misses with a jab to the body
letting Am counter with a right hand. Am goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Am has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Koski. Am misses with a hook. Koski throws a hook but Am blocks it. Koski misses with a low kick. Koski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Koski tries to score with a low kick but Am moves his leg out of the way. Koski throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. An attempted straight right counter from Am misses the target. Koski falls off balance throwing a combination
and Am cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koski lands a jab to the nose. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Am connects with a nice looking jab.
Am throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
I Am is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Koski throws a poor cross that misses
and Am counters with a lovely shot to the body. Am ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Am throws a leg kick which misses Koski's front leg but catches the back leg as Koski tries to avoid it. Koski lands with a hook. Am tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. A nice inside leg kick there by Koski. That's going to slow Am down. Am will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Am ducks right into an uppercut from Koski. Koski misses with an uppercut
and Am makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Koski looks for the body kick but Am saw that one coming. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Koski misses with a lunging right hand
and Am counters with a nice uppercut. A shot to the liver by Koski. Beautiful body shot. Am throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Juan Koski will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Juan Koski's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Am gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Koski. Am sizes up Koski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Koski is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Am. We've been informed that Koski has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. A swing and a miss from Am. Am throws a looping overhand right but Koski ducks down to avoid it. Koski misses with a straight left. Koski misses with a hook. Am ducked under it nicely. Am appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Koski stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Am. Am avoids the body shot from Koski.

and Am counters with a nice kick to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koski finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Am lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Koski circles away quickly and effectively. Am lands a nice shot that snaps Koski's head back.
Koski stalks Am and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Am's face. Am staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koski chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Koski throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Am lands a jab. Koski pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A jab from Koski misses. Koski misses with a leg kick and Koski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Am moves in looking to clinch but Koski pushes him off. Koski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Am moves away. Am swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Koski lands a nice hook to Am's body. Am takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Am fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koski manages to avoid it. Am takes a jab right on the kisser.
Am throws a body punch but Koski moves out of range. Koski misses with a shot to the body and Am cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Some bone on bone action there as Am checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koski misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Am.
Am's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Am duly obliges. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A low kick from Koski misses letting Am counter with a right hand.
Koski is rocked! Koski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. I Am has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Koski is still on wobbly legs! Can Am finish him? Am drops Koski with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Koski! Am dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). I Am! A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, I Am made sure he mentioned Sin City Allstars, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
