Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Steffan Stove!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 46 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bartek Pietrzak!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stove scores with a three punch combo!
Stove buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stove throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pietrzak tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Stove misses with a double jab
letting Pietrzak counter with a right hand.
Stove throws out a leg kick but Pietrzak moves out of range and Stove only half commits.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pietrzak. Stove does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pietrzak throws a hook but Stove avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Pietrzak lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stove doesn't seem phased though.
Pietrzak thuds his right hand into Stove's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Stove moves out of range of the body kick from Pietrzak.
Pietrzak shoots in looking for a takedown but Stove manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pietrzak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Pietrzak lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Let's hope that Pietrzak has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Pietrzak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
