Monstoro has chosen Demigod as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Monstoro strikes from the bottom but Fitzgerald takes advantage and advances to full mount!

Monstoro has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Fitzgerald is persistently looking for the submission but Monstoro is defending it well.
Monstoro wants to control his opponent's hands but Fitzgerald gets his hands free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fitzgerald is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Monstoro with him. Monstoro is trying to defend but Fitzgerald has an arm under the chin now! Monstoro grimaces and is forced to tap out!
