The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owusu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tektas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Owusu slips a jab from Tektas.
Owusu scores with a jab. Tektas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tektas walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Owusu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Owusu takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tektas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Tektas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Owusu to the mat! Owusu manages to get full guard.
Owusu wants to get back to his feet but Tektas passes into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Owusu is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Tektas has latched onto it... Big trouble! Tektas pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Owusu is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Tektas!
