Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Dangerfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dangerfield gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Champion counters with a nice body shot.
Champion throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Rocco Dangerfield has been cut.
Dangerfield shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Champion counters with a straight right hand.
Nice shot lands for Champion.
A punch lands to the side of Dangerfield 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Champion is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dangerfield doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Champion connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocco Dangerfield. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab lands there for Champion.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dangerfield has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Champion finds it's way round the side to connect with Dangerfield's head.
Champion is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dangerfield pushes Champion up against the cage in a clinch.

Champion trying to control the position but instead, Dangerfield has worked for underhooks and has pushed Champion into the cage.

Champion wants to get back to striking at distance but Dangerfield won't allow it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Dangerfield.
Dangerfield is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Champion has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Dangerfield has a couple of punches blocked by Champion.
Champion blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dangerfield definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Champion is trying to stall.
Dangerfield keeps control of Champion as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Champion scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Dangerfield tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Champion just stands there and leans against the cage.
Champion's coach down at Area51 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Champion's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dangerfield goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Champion has had enough of the clinch but Dangerfield keeps him there for the moment.
Dangerfield tries to pull guard but Champion holds him up against the cage and eventually Dangerfield drops back down to his feet.
Champion gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dangerfield.

Dangerfield tries to throw a body punch but Champion avoids it by throwing Dangerfield back against the cage.
Dangerfield tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Dangerfield wants the takedown. Champion is fighting it off but Dangerfield persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Champion's guard against the cage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Champion can do anything to dispel that myth.

Champion is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Dangerfield is working Champion over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dangerfield is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dangerfield is pushing down on Champion's leg trying to pass to half guard. Champion is fighting to maintain full guard but Dangerfield has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dangerfield uses his free foot to push down on Champion's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Champion.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dangerfield lands a big elbow.
Champion is rocked!
Dangerfield has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dangerfield postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Champion is out cold - huge knockout for Dangerfield!
