The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter stalks Berg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Berg's face. Berg staggers backwards, shaken.
Carter misses with a leg kick
and Berg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carter's guard.
Carter wants to stand but Berg is controlling the position.
Berg wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving.
Berg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carter is keeping the position for now.

Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Berg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Berg crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Carter - the referee stops the clock and Berg gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Carter. Berg manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Wayne Carter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Berg sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
