The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remington swings away with a body shot that misses
and Van Der Roost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Luke Remington has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Van Der Roost, right into the meat.
Van Der Roost looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Van Der Roost throws a nice looking combination but Remington bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fighters circle momentarily. Remington darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Remington is looking to control Van Der Roost's arms but Van Der Roost gets an underhook and turns him. Now Remington has his back to the ropes.

Van Der Roost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Van Der Roost moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Remington is breathing heavily.

Remington avoids the head kick by Van Der Roost.
Van Der Roost catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Remington stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Remington walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Luke Remington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Der Roost closes the distance and catches Remington with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Remington is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Remington is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Remington is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Van Der Roost takes it!
