Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joan Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solsakorn Honsawaskan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Solsakorn Honsawaskan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joan Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Solsakorn Honsawaskan! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honsawaskan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wilson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Honsawaskan throws a strike but Wilson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Honsawaskan prevents Wilson from getting back to his feet. Wilson wants to sweep but no luck. Wilson pulls Honsawaskan in to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honsawaskan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Honsawaskan is looking to work some ground and pound but Wilson has wrist control. Honsawaskan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wilson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Honsawaskan throws an elbow that misses. Wilson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Honsawaskan's guard. Nice move by Wilson! Honsawaskan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honsawaskan keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully. Honsawaskan wants to get back to his feet but Wilson passes into half guard.
Wilson wants to stand but Honsawaskan has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Honsawaskan wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wilson throwing shots but Honsawaskan is blocking nicely. Wilson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Wilson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Honsawaskan tries to kick Wilson off but Wilson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wilson is looking for a kimura but Honsawaskan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilson to get the leverage. Honsawaskan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Honsawaskan is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Honsawaskan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Honsawaskan. Wilson does a little dance to reset his feet. Wilson tries to counter by clinching up but Honsawaskan breaks away and moves out of range. Honsawaskan drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Honsawaskan has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Honsawaskan lands a left hand.

Honsawaskan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wilson is trying to keep an underhook but Honsawaskan manages to get the takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Honsawaskan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Honsawaskan is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Wilson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wilson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson wants to stand and escape but Honsawaskan is having none of it. Honsawaskan is sitting in close to Wilson's body. Wilson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Honsawaskan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Honsawaskan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wilson.
