Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Synyx Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulrik Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by In Scarlet Storm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Synyx Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ulrik Meyer! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dall lands a leg kick that knocks Meyer off balance momentarily. Meyer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meyer looks to land a left hand but Dall moved out of range nicely. Dall lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Meyer thows a left - swing and a miss! Dall slips a jab from Meyer. Meyer tries to land a leg kick but Dall saw it coming and moves away.
Dall throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've been hearing reports that Dall has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Meyer pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A solid leg kick lands there for Meyer.
Dall throws a body kick that misses and Meyer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Dall misses with a kick to the body.
Nice shot by Meyer. Dall throws out a loose jab but Meyer uses good head movement to avoid it. It seemed like Meyer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nice defenses there by Meyer. Dall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Meyer. That did some damage! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dall lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Meyer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Meyer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dall moves out of range of the strikes. It looked like Dall was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Meyer. Meyer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Ulrik Meyer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dall just misses with a punch to the body.
Dall connects with a solid leg kick. Dall throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Dall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dall appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Meyer forces Dall back against the cage and clinches. Dall pressing his opponent against the cage. Meyer lands with a light punch inside. Dall pulls guard. Dall has an active guard here but Meyer has managed to pass into half guard.
Dall is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dall wants to get back to full guard but Meyer has passed into side control. Meyer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dall's shoulder. That is not cool. Dall is looking to regain half guard here but Meyer keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Meyer controlling the position from side mount. Dall is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dall. Meyer stopping the sweep attempt from Dall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Meyer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Meyer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Meyer has managed to get both his arms back between Dall's legs - danger averted. Dall is trying to hold Meyer in close to prevent damage but Meyer has managed to pass into half guard.
Meyer prevents Dall from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ulrik Meyer will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dall misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Meyer.
Dall lands a glancing blow to the side of Meyer's head. Dall chopping away at his opponent's legs.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dall checks a leg kick. Dall misses with a low kick.
It seemed like Meyer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dall is defended easily by Meyer. Dall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dall there as he acknowledges the shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall throws a front kick aimed at Meyer's knee but Meyer avoids it well. Dall misses with a wild body shot. Meyer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Dall seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Dall is looking to land body kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Dall. Meyer fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dall is out of range. Dall attempts a counter takedown but Meyer avoids it well and moves away. Meyer scores with a hook. Dall lands with a hook. Meyer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Meyer misses with an uppercut. Dall saw that one coming. Meyer scores with a nice strike. Meyer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dall doesn't seem bothered though. Dall checks the leg kick nicely there.
Dall changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A solid body kick from Dall. Meyer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dall attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Meyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dall was well out of range. Poor timing from Meyer. A punch lands to the side of Dall 's head but he takes it in his stride. Meyer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A punch combination from Meyer misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall tries for a takedown but Meyer circles away easily letting Meyer counter with a right hand. Meyer misses with a straight right. Meyer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dall misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Meyer counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Dall connects with a solid leg kick. Dall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Meyer moves away. Meyer swings away with a leg kick that misses. Good leg kick by Dall there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Meyer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dall. A telegraphed right hand from Meyer misses the target. Good work by Meyer as he checks the leg kick. Nice defenses there by Dall. Ulrik Meyer seems to be getting the better of the standup. Meyer lands with a cross. Dall throws the kick towards the body but Meyer avoids it. Dall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Meyer throws out the jab. Dall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Meyer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dall somewhat. Meyer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dall with a body shot. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Synyx Dall. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall takes a kick to the side of the head. Some bone on bone action there as Meyer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Meyer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dall moves away. Dall half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Meyer throws a lazy right hand but Dall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice cross by Meyer. Meyer lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Meyer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dall. Dall turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Dall throws a solid leg kick but Meyer takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dall. Dall ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Meyer tries to land a leg kick but Dall saw it coming and moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meyer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A head kick misses from Meyer. Dall is looking to counter punch. Dall moves out of range of the strikes. Meyer rushes Dall and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Meyer. Dall scores with a shoulder strike. Meyer slows down the pace here.
Meyer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dall's elbow. Dall's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dall. Dall blocks a body shot from Meyer. Meyer misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dall is trying to maintain a safe position but Meyer gets an underhook and turns Dall into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ulrik Meyer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Dall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Meyer tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dall is in Meyer's guard. Meyer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dall manages to get himself to full guard.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meyer avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dall keeping moving, preventing Meyer from controlling successfully. Dall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Meyer defends well. Meyer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Synyx Dall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Meyer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dall has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Meyer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Meyer defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall working a defensive guard but Meyer manages to pass into side control anyway.
Dall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Dall is refusing to be controlled, as Meyer sits in half guard. Dall slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Synyx Dall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dall is on top in guard.
Ulrik Meyer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dall tries to free his leg and advance position but Meyer is retaining full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Meyer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dall advances to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Synyx Dall showed his dominance in that final round. I think Meyer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
