Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pako Laine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laine is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nikke Ankara - Värifilmi. Ricardo Monteban is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pako Laine!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monteban has closed the distance and engaged Laine in a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Laine has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Laine fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Monteban avoiding damage as Laine throws knees to the body.
Monteban is trying to force a seperation but Laine has the dominant position.
Monteban misses with a short punch on the inside.
Laine tries a knee to the head but Monteban blocks it.

Monteban has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Laine clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Monteban seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Laine's chin but Laine turns very nicely into Monteban's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Laine.

Laine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Monteban is working Laine over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Laine is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Laine lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Monteban is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Coffee Shop, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Laine is fighting off a takedown attempt but Monteban is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Laine to the mat. Laine regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Laine wants to control but Monteban is keeping him busy.

Laine is taking a breather. Monteban says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Laine is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Monteban is just riding it out for now. Laine eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pako Laine showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Monteban changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Laine looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

A very excited looking Pako Laine rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
