Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sol Dier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primo Brunetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dier comes to the cage accompanied by Soldier. Primo Brunetti will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sol Dier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Primo Brunetti! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brunetti takes a body punch but keeps moving. Dier ducks down and throws a hook to the body. We've been told by Dier's head coaches at Academy for Advanced Ass-Whippery that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dier throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Brunetti wants to counter the offense by Dier and move into the clinch position. The fighters circling - Brunetti throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dier misses the shot to the body. Brunetti has Dier up against the cage in a clinch.

Brunetti keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dier's efforts to push away. Brunetti misses with a body punch.
Dier wants to get back to striking at distance but Brunetti won't allow it.
Dier is trying to force a seperation but Brunetti has the dominant position. Brunetti scores with a nice hook to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brunetti swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Dier is looking to break free of the clinch but Brunetti has double underhooks. Brunetti tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dier's elbow. Brunetti scores with a shoulder strike. Dier has a couple of punches blocked by Brunetti.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brunetti displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dier up against the cage. Dier is trying to break free. Brunetti misses with a body punch.

Dier has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brunetti is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brunetti stalls. Dier is trying to push Brunetti away but Brunetti has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Dier is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sol Dier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brunetti tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Dier is trying to push Brunetti away but Brunetti has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Brunetti misses with the head strike.

Dier has picked Brunetti up - he's going for a ride! Dier dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dier missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Brunetti blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dier. Brunetti looking for submissions off his back. Brunetti blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dier. Dier drops an elbow to the side of Brunetti's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dier connects with a nice short shot to Brunetti's temple. Brunetti slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Dier trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dier with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Brunetti is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brunetti trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brunetti pulls Dier in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brunetti looking for a guillotine here but Dier defends easily.
Dier works over Brunetti with some ground and pound from guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Brunetti avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dier scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Dier trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brunetti working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dier. Brunetti is trying to keep Dier in close.
Dier scoring with punches to the head and body. Dier working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Brunetti's head. Dier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dier missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Brunetti looking for a sweep. Not yet Brunetti, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dier is looking to work some ground and pound but Brunetti has wrist control. Dier trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Brunetti controls Dier momentarily but Dier frees himself. Dier advances to half guard. Brunetti is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Brunetti trying to control from the bottom.
Brunetti keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Brunetti blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dier. Brunetti is trying to control but can't.
Dier drops an elbow to the side of Brunetti's head. Brunetti has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dier is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dier not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Dier lands strikes from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sol Dier dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Brunetti slips a jab from Dier. Dier looks to score with a jab to the body but Brunetti is just out of range. Dier is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brunetti can do to turn this around? Dier looks to score with a jab to the body but Brunetti is just out of range. Brunetti misses with a left hand and Dier counters with a right hand to the body. Brunetti connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dier. Dier circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The fighters circling - Dier throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dier staying out of range there. A little feinted left hand from Dier on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Brunetti throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dier stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dier lands with a cross. Dier tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brunetti was well out of range. Poor timing from Dier. Dier misses with a body shot.
Brunetti tries to counter with a clinch but Dier shakes him off and moves away. Dier getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Brunetti is rocked! Dier weaves into range and cracks Brunetti right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Brunetti goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Dier is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
