Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raja Ohri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stratovarius Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohri comes to the cage accompanied by The Next Episode. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Raja Ohri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stratovarius Smiff! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ohri fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Ohri shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Smiff as he avoids it easily. Ohri gets a takedown into half guard. Ohri throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ohri thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Smiff's head. Smiff trying to control but Ohri postures up.
Smiff is pressing down on Ohri's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smiff looking to control.
Ohri throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Smiff trying to keep a closed guard but Ohri is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Smiff lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Smiff is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Smiff looking to control.
Ohri wants to control from the top but Smiff keeps moving. Ohri avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been hearing that Ohri has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Ohri wants to control from the top but Smiff keeps moving. Ohri postures up in Smiff's guard and throws a big left but Smiff blocks it. Ohri stopping the sweep attempt from Smiff.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smiff striking off his back, scoring a few points. Smiff avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ohri postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ohri with a flurry of punches that miss. Smiff is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ohri has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smiff manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ohri manages to get himself to full guard.
Ohri can't keep his opponent in guard - Smiff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Ohri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smiff's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smiff's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ohri looking for the choke but no joy. Smiff tries to escape but Ohri has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Smiff defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
I really don't envy Smiff right now.
Smiff looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Ohri working for a choke but Smiff is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ohri scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Smiff is looking for a way out. Ohri doesn't have the hooks in and Smiff manages to turn into his guard.
Smiff wants to control from the top but Ohri keeps moving. Smiff is fighting to break Ohri's control of his arms but Ohri is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smiff passes Ohri's right leg, so he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Raja Ohri will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Ohri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ohri showed some decent athleticism there. Ohri drops an elbow to the side of Smiff's head. Ohri not landing any meaningful shots this time. Smiff actively working from the bottom here. Smiff regains full guard. Nicely done. Smiff has his foot on Ohri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ohri works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smiff not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ohri stands up over Smiff, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ohri distracts Smiff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Smiff trying to keep a closed guard but Ohri is proving a slippery customer.
Smiff bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ohri's guard.

Ohri keeping moving, preventing Smiff from controlling successfully. Ohri knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smiff on the ground. Smiff wants to pass the guard but Ohri is keeping the position. Ohri looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smiff is one step ahead there. Smiff trying to control but Ohri is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Smiff might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ohri haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Smiff slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Smiff wants to control from the top but Ohri keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ohri shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Smiff pushes a forearm under Ohri's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ohri is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stratovarius Smiff! After winning the bout, Stratovarius Smiff thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. In defeat, Raja Ohri stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll comeback and get a win next time!'.
