Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Vovchanchyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franky Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Franky Page enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Remy Vovchanchyn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Franky Page!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Page.
Page has a takedown stuffed.
Vovchanchyn throws a big counter combination but Page scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Vovchanchyn misses with a hook.

Page shoots in and bounces Vovchanchyn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Page in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Vovchanchyn has his feet on Page's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Page shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Vovchanchyn napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vovchanchyn is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Page has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Page in particular looking to stall.

Page is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vovchanchyn knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Page working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Page is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Vovchanchyn can't fight it off and eventually Page manages to take the fight to the floor. Vovchanchyn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
