Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karate Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kid comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting. On his way into the cage it seems that Karate Kid has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Karate Kid seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karate Kid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Frost! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kid throws a low kick but Frost avoids it. Kid gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Frost. Frost lands a jab. Kid moves forwards but Frost connects with a nice, crisp jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kid. Kid tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kid has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Frost gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kid is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Frost has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Frost! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frost looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Frost must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kid is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kid trying to control the position.
Kid looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Frost is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Frost postures up.
Kid has control of Frost's left arm, preventing Frost from doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kid looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kid controlling the position. Kid not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice body punch from Frost. Kid lands a nice looking body kick. Frost lunges at Kid with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kid's hand. Kid slips a straight right by Frost. Kid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frost manages to avoid it. Frost thows a left - swing and a miss! Kid steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Frost. Frost has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kid throws a series of punches but Frost avoids them all with ease. Kid throws an overhand right that lands on Frost's shoulder, as Frost tries to avoid the shot. Frost looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Frost misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kid.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kid keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Frost connects with a nice looking jab.
Kid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frost moves away. Frost connects with a single shot there. Frost scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frost cracks Kid with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A punch lands to the side of Kid 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kid takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Frost swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Frost throws a combination. Kid tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kid ducks under a wild hook from Frost. Kid was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kid throws a head kick that half lands.
Frost misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kid.
Kid looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kid gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Frost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Walter Frost dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Frost might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Kid goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Frost is rocked! Frost scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Frost is still on wobbly legs! Can Kid finish him? Frost with a hook. Frost seems to have recovered his senses. Kid throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Frost dips to his left and cracks Kid with an uppercut! Kid throws a low kick but Frost avoids it. A leg kick checked by Frost. A big left from Frost misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Frost. Frost lands a nice hook to Kid's body. Kid takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Frost works Kid's body with a nice hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frost scores with a jab. Kid acknowledges it with a nod of the head. No joy there for Kid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jab, jab by Frost - just one landing. Nice straight punches there by Frost. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frost.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kid on the side of the head. A bone on bone clash there as Frost blocks the leg kick.
Good exchange - Frost coming out on top. Frost thows a left - swing and a miss! Frost with a body punch. A glancing blow. Kid ducks under a wild hook from Frost. Frost slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Frost takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That kick from Kid tenderised Frost's leg. Frost is trying to keep his angry face on. Walter Frost seems to be getting the better of the standup. Frost scores with a punch to the head. Frost throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A swing and a miss from Frost. Frost bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kid's head. Kid looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Frost tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kid was well out of range. Poor timing from Frost. Kid throws a nice outside leg kick. Walter Frost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frost.
Frost connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kid uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Frost has time to react. Jab from Frost. Kid uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Frost. Kid's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kid duly obliges. Frost digs a good body shot into Kid's ribs. Oooh a lovely combination from Kid sends Frost down but not out. Kid dives into side control looking to finish. Kid trying to control the action but Frost is working from the bottom. Kid is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Frost knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Frost regains half guard there - taking advantage of Kid's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kid is pressing down on Frost's thigh, looking to free his foot. Frost is holding on for now. Frost has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Kid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kid wants to pass the guard but Frost is keeping the position. Kid has gone for a leg lock! Frost slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kid's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Walter Frost showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kid shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Frost throws a looping overhand right but Kid ducks down to avoid it. Kid uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Frost. Frost fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Frost scores with a jab to the jaw. Frost comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kid takes a shot right to the bread basket. Frost looks to throw the jab but Kid is out of range. Frost looks to score with a jab to the body but Kid is just out of range. Kid slips under a jab from Frost. Frost misses with a looping left. Walter Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kid drops his hands momentarily and Frost takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Frost misses with a left hand and Kid counters with a right hand to the body. Frost dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Kid misses the target. This has been an exciting period of action! Frost changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kid ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. This has been an exciting period of action! Frost scores with a jab. Kid acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Frost scores with a body shot.
Frost uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Frost scores with a decent looking hook. Frost scores with a decent looking hook. Frost bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kid's head backwards. Frost lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A jab lands there for Frost. Kid lands a nice looking kick to the body. Frost takes a step back to recover. Frost lands a really nice looking cross but Kid seems unphased.
Kid fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Frost.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kid throws a low kick, looking for Frost's leg but Frost calmly moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Frost! But no joy. Kid takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kid buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Frost misses with a straight left. Frost throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kid counters with a stiff right hand. Nice uppercut there from Frost. Kid ducks under a wild hook from Frost. Walter Frost is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A big left from Frost misses. Frost swings for the body but Kid moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Kid tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Frost lands a nice looking body shot.
Frost lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kid circles away quickly and effectively. A slapping leg kick lands for Kid.
Kid tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Frost defends well and Kid ends up having to push Frost into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A nice side step and Frost releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Frost lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Frost lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A left lands for Frost. Frost misses with a looping left. Frost stuns Kid with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kid lands the left hand. Kid shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Karate Kid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frost throws a body shot but no joy. Kid shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frost as he avoids it easily. Kid on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jab by Frost. Kid fails to land the takedown. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Frost jabs Kid to the body, keeping him at a distance. Kid misses with a straight left.
And that's the end of the fight! Walter Frost comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Frost winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
