The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janvier shoots in but no luck this time.
Janvier throws a sloppy head kick and Delacruz moves out of range easily.

Janvier moves into the clinch.
Janvier jumps guard but Delacruz stands there with Janvier around his waist. Janvier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Janvier throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delacruz's waist but Delacruz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Janvier off to one side.

Janvier shoots for a double leg takedown but Delacruz sprawls well. He's pushed Janvier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Janvier jumps guard but Delacruz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Janvier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Delacruz blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
