Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sisu Aalto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hannu Hantta!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aalto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hantta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hantta waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Aalto.
Sisu Aalto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hantta misses with a few strikes there.
Aalto loads up on a big right hand but Hantta slips the punch.
Aalto throws a lazy right hand but Hantta sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Aalto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hantta was well out of range. Poor timing from Aalto.
Hantta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aalto.
Aalto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hantta manages to avoid it.
Aalto slips a straight right by Hantta.
Hantta lands a with a good body shot.
Aalto keeps the fight on the outside.
Hantta clinches up against the cage.
Hantta working aggressively here.
Hantta's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hantta looks to land a combination but Aalto avoids it well.
Aalto lands a slapping body shot.
A swing and a miss from Aalto.
Aalto slips a jab and a cross from Hantta.
Aalto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hantta.
Hantta staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aalto displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Hannu Hantta has been cut.
Hantta stalks Aalto and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aalto's face. Aalto staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aalto throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hantta tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aalto swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A big right from Aalto misses.
Aalto looks to land a right hand but Hantta moved out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Aalto!
Hantta is rocked!
Aalto throws a pinpoint strike between Hantta's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hantta crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Aalto scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sisu Aalto!
