The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustin on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gustin lands a high kick!
Chomsky avoids the head kick by Gustin.
Gustin lands with an uppercut that bounces Chomsky off the cage and back into range.
Sloppy strikes from Chomsky. Those never looked like landing.
Melvin Gustin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gustin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chomsky can pounce on him.
Gustin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gustin lands with a kick to the temple. Chomsky shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Gustin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gustin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Chomsky misses with a punch on the inside.

Still in the clinch, Gustin scores with a nice short uppercut.

Gustin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gustin looks to land a combination. Chomsky sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Gustin moves into the clinch successfully.
Gustin gets through Chomsky's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Chomsky throws a head punch that misses.
Chomsky swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Gustin lands a hook that snaps the head of Chomsky backwards.

Gustin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good leg kick by Gustin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Chomsky avoids the head kick by Gustin.
Chomsky flicks out a counter leg kick but Gustin steps away.
Chomsky attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Chomsky tries to clinch up.

Chomsky tries to keep at a distance but Gustin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gustin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Gustin.

Gustin breaks the clinch.
Gustin throws a sloppy head kick and Chomsky moves out of range easily.
Gustin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chomsky moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Gustin as he connects with a hook.
Gustin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Gustin closes the distance and clinches.
Chomsky trying to stall but Gustin improves his position.
Chomsky's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Chomsky lands a body shot in the clinch.

Gustin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gustin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gustin throws a head kick that misses.
Chomsky takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gustin is looking to clinch but Chomsky is avoiding it.
Chomsky is trying to counter with his kicks.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gustin! Chomsky is out on his feet! Gustin rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Chomsky is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Chomsky is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
