The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belezotto with a lazy takedown attempt
and Landen counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Oscar Belezotto has been cut.
Belezotto takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Landen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Belezotto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Landen to score with a decent uppercut.
Belezotto is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Landen throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Belezotto is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Paul Landen!
After the fight, Paul Landen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
