Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abel Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Dupuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gutierrez comes into the arena with The Fugees–03. Ready or Not blaring out of the sound system. Marc Dupuis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abel Gutierrez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Dupuis! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gutierrez scores with a three punch combo!
A punch combination from Gutierrez misses. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gutierrez connects with a body shot that sends Dupuis's belly button to the back. Gutierrez tries to bum rush Dupuis with a series of wild strikes but Dupuis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dupuis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gutierrez sprawls well. Gutierrez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dupuis gets slowly back to his feet. Dupuis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dupuis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gutierrez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dupuis looks winded! Gutierrez is trying to buck Dupuis off. Dupuis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dupuis prevents Gutierrez from escaping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gutierrez prevents Dupuis from moving into mount. Gutierrez is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Gutierrez trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dupuis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gutierrez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dupuis trying to control the action but Gutierrez is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gutierrez wants to get back to his feet but Dupuis is dominant here and he's now got Gutierrez's back! Gutierrez wants to get back to his feet. Gutierrez fending off the submission attempt from Dupuis. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gutierrez is trying to get back to his feet but Dupuis has full control of the position and if anything, Gutierrez has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marc Dupuis dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gutierrez scores with a one two! Dupuis had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Gutierrez's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gutierrez duly obliges. Oooh a lovely combination from Gutierrez sends Dupuis down but not out. Gutierrez dives into side control looking to finish.
Dupuis is rocked! Marc Dupuis has got the better of the ground game so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gutierrez stands up. Dupuis is still on wobbly legs! Can Gutierrez finish him? Gutierrez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dupuis can do to turn this around? Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Gutierrez moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Dupuis! Gutierrez continues to tee off on Dupuis, landing with a left and a right! Gutierrez connects with a right hand that leaves Dupuis sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Gutierrez!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Abel Gutierrez! A less than humble Abel Gutierrez misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. The defeated Marc Dupuis had this to say: 'Fuck you'.
