Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Semmy Cobb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Beast kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'm Broken. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan The Beast! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Semmy Cobb! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobb rushes The Beast and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The Beast jumps guard but Cobb stands there with The Beast around his waist. The Beast gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cobb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cobb slaps away a takedown attempt from The Beast, before circling back to the center of the mat. It seemed like Cobb was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. The Beast lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Semmy Cobb has been cut. Cobb lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Beast circles away quickly and effectively. We've been hearing reports that The Beast has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Cobb waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Beast. Cobb circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cobb is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Cobb has managed to clinch.
Cobb escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cobb throws a big shot that misses. The Beast ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The Beast tries to counter by clinching up but Cobb breaks away and moves out of range. The Beast really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cobb clinches up against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Beast trying to control the position but instead, Cobb has worked for underhooks and has pushed The Beast into the cage. Cobb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cobb bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps The Beast's head backwards. Cobb walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract The Beast. Semmy Cobb is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Donk. The Beast catches Cobb right on the button with a cross. Cobb's coach down at Cobb was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cobb's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The Beast throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The Beast cracks Cobb with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The Beast swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cobb. The Beast shoots in but Cobb avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan The Beast. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Beast drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Dan The Beast has been cut. Cobb feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends The Beast sprawling to the canvas! The Beast rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Cobb finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cobb closes the distance and clinches. The Beast misses with a hook from the clinch. Cobb pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The Beast throws a hook but Cobb avoids it easily. Cobb sends The Beast crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cobb is motioning to the referee to let The Beast up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The Beast is rocked! Cobb closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks The Beast out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Semmy Cobb! Semmy Cobb decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
