The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Trueman.
Trueman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Beamer.
The fight stays on the outside here - Trueman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beamer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
An elbow from Beamer crashes against the mat.

Beamer swings around for an armbar but Trueman sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Beamer's guard.
Beamer wants to stand and escape but Trueman is having none of it.
Trueman trying to control the position from guard on top but Beamer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Beamer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Trueman stacks Beamer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Trueman!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beamer looks to move to half guard but instead Trueman has passed into mount! Damn!

Beamer wants to control from the top but Trueman keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Beamer connects with a nice looking jab.
Trueman tries to close the distance and clinch but Beamer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Trueman throws a head kick but Beamer moves out of range.

It looks like Jim Beamer has been cut.

Trueman decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Jim Beamer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Oh Trueman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trueman leaves his chin hanging out and Beamer seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Trueman crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
