Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devonte Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Queen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Devonte Harris! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Queen throws a nice looking combination but Harris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And Harris responds with a good body kick, but Queen manages to step out the way in time. Harris on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jab by Queen. Queen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Harris. That did some damage! Queen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Queen lands with a nice body punch. Queen slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat. A nice leg kick lands there from Queen. No joy there for Queen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Queen defends it well. Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Queen tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Queen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Queen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harris backs up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harris napping and manages to drive through into side control! Queen working away. Queen is chipping away with strikes.
Queen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Queen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Queen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Queen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Queen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Well, if Queen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris trying to control from the bottom.
Queen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Harris trying to control but Queen postures up.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Queen stalling.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Queen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Harris did well to prevent Queen getting side control. Queen passes the guard and advances to mount! Queen controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Queen unloading with bombs! Queen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Oliver Queen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Queen drives through with a takedown into Harris's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Queen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Queen throwing strikes but missing. Queen advances to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Queen is figuring out what he wants to do next. Queen lands strikes from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queen wants to pass the guard but Harris is defending well. Queen looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Queen slips a nice elbow through Harris's hands, connecting with Harris's forehead. Queen scoring with strikes to the body and head. Queen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Harris is doing well to control the position and prevent Queen from advancing to side control. Queen wants to work for an arm triangle but Harris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris is looking to get back to full guard here but Queen has managed to pass to side control instead. Queen working the body and head with strikes. Queen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harris can do anything to dispel that myth. You can see the frustration on Harris's face as Queen controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Queen working the ground and pound from side control. Queen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Queen working the ground and pound. Harris is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Queen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Queen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Queen winds up and cracks Harris with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Harris is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Queen scores with a couple of nice shots. Oliver Queen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Queen slows the pace down in half guard. Queen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Harris for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Queen dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Queen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Harris tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Queen is in Harris's guard. Queen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Harris wants to sweep but no luck. Harris being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Queen stacks Harris on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Queen! You can see the frustration on Harris's face as Queen controls the position. Queen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Queen in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Queen takes a little break here. Harris wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Queen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Queen tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Queen to the ground. Queen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Queen closes the distance and lands a one-two. Harris doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Queen lands a jab-cross combination. Queen lands a right hook to the body.
Queen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harris at a distance.
Queen moves into the clinch. Queen has clasped his hands together around Harris's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Harris wants to get back to his feet but Queen is dominant here and he's now got Harris's back! Queen is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Queen controls the position. Oliver Queen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Queen gets his way!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Harris trying to control the position but Queen manages to sink in the hooks. Queen has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Harris's body.
Devonte Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! More hug and hope from Queen.
And that's the end of the fight! Oliver Queen showed his dominance in that final round. Well Queen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
