Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Alexander Schultz and John Dux. John Dux is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Alexander Schultz! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; John Dux! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Dux gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dux is pressed up against the cage. Schultz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dux down to the mat. Dux avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dux closes the distance and pushes Schultz back into the cage. Dux gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Schultz regains guard.

Is it all over??? No! Schultz has escaped and now he's on top! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Schultz (2) vs (2) Dux Schultz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schultz has managed to get both his arms back between Dux's legs - danger averted. Dux has his foot on Schultz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schultz works his way back into a safe position though. Schultz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dux has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schultz has managed to get both his arms back between Dux's legs - danger averted. Dux is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schultz defends well. Dux keeping full guard, as Schultz tries to pass. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Schultz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dux can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schultz controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dux has his feet on Schultz's thighs here. He's pushed Schultz off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Schultz screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
