Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Josh Fardy and Sungwon Jung. Fardy comes into the arena with Smack My Bitch Up blaring out of the sound system. Jung is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Body Head Bangerz feat. Lil' Boosie & Young Bleed - I Smoke, I Drank. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Sungwon Jung enters the cage!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Josh Fardy! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Sungwon Jung!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fardy prevents the takedown attempt.
Fardy is working for takedown but Jung is calmly controlling the position for now.
Fardy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jung avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jung jumps into guard, dragging Fardy to the mat.
Jung wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Let's hope that Jung has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
