The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones scoring well with a low kick there.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones throws a leg kick which misses Nystroem's front leg but catches the back leg as Nystroem tries to avoid it.
Jones fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nystroem.
Nystroem looks gassed!
Jones throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Nystroem stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Jones follows into mount!
It looks like Joakim Nystroem has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nystroem has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jones working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Jones quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Jones but it's paid off an Nystroem is forced to tap! Nice work by Jones.
