Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Star Dust and Eli Armis. Dust comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Armis has chosen Mortal Kombat Theme as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Star Dust! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 6 losses; Eli Armis! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Armis takes the fight into the clinch. Armis jumps guard but Dust turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Armis fails to pull guard.
Dust gets control of Armis's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dust will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Armis pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dust controlling from the top position. Dust wants to pass the guard but Armis is keeping the position.

Armis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dust looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dust stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Armis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Armis wins on points by 17 to 6. A relieved looking Eli Armis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
