Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ivan Putski and Kazuka Fuujin. Putski comes to the cage accompanied by Aids . Fuujin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: a lot of Asian swag in this young man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 6 losses; Ivan Putski! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 10 losses; Kazuka Fuujin! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Fuujin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Putski (0) vs (4) Fuujin We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Putski manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fuujin wants to pass the guard but Putski is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Putski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Putski looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Putski works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Putski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fuujin is one step ahead there. Fuujin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Fuujin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Putski working for a triangle but Fuujin defends it easily.

He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Putski is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fuujin frees his head nicely. Oh but Putski has switched to an armbar! Fuujin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
