Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perkins misses with a kick to the body.

Perkins pulls guard successfully.
Perkins throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Perkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fulton defends well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Perkins tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Perkins has control of Fulton's left arm, preventing Fulton from doing any damage.
Perkins is looking to stand up but Fulton isn't so interested in that idea.
Perkins is adopting a defensive guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

It looks like Evan Fulton has been cut.

Perkins stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Perkins wants it to stay on the feet.

Perkins gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fulton regains guard.
Perkins wanted to stand there but Fulton had control of the position.
Perkins makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Perkins is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Perkins slips nicely into half guard.
Fulton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perkins on the ground.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Perkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Perkins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fulton's guard.
Fulton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Perkins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fulton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Perkins has Fulton in his guard.

Perkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fulton with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Perkins seems to be working for a kimura but Fulton defends the submission attempt.
Fulton is looking for a sweep. Perkins is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Perkins working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


Fulton is rocked!

Perkins is trying for a kimura here. Fulton looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Perkins wins by kimura!
