Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Long Ayers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Long Ayers has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Long Ayers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Bambino!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ayers walks into a jab.


It looks like Long Ayers has been cut.
Ayers circles away from the clinch attempt
and Ayers counters with a nice uppercut.
Ayers shoots in for a takedown but Bambino shows good takedown defense.

Bambino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ayers's guard.

Bambino tries to free his leg and advance position but Ayers is retaining full guard.
Bambino works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bambino shoots in looking for a takedown but Ayers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bambino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bambino throws a sloppy head kick
and Ayers counters with a left and a right that stings Bambino.

Bambino gets the takedown into side control.
Bambino tries to stand but Ayers is controlling his head.
Ayers is trying to get back to half guard.
Ayers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bambino stands up and beckons Ayers to his feet.

Bambino shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bambino showed some decent athleticism there.

Ayers pushes Bambino off and gets back to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bambino misses with a takedown attempt
and Ayers counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bambino thinking.
Ayers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bambino counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Ayers is breathing heavily.

Ayers gets caught flat footed, as Bambino shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bambino is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bambino gets to his feet. Ayers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Bambino shoots in looking for a takedown. Ayers tries to sprawl out of it but Bambino keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ayers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Bambino looks to move away, Ayers throws a big counter combo but Bambino just gets out of the way.
Long Ayers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Bambino.

Bambino closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ayers quickly recovers to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ayers is trying to control but Bambino passes into side control!
Bambino is looking to take a break and control but Ayers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ayers is looking for a sweep.
Bambino wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ayers keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bambino rushes Ayers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ayers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bambino looking for a guillotine here but Ayers defends easily.

Ayers gets to his feet. Bambino looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Ayers throws a series of punches but Bambino avoids them all with ease.
Ayers takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ayers gets caught napping as Bambino dives in and scores a takedown. Ayers manages to retain guard.

Bambino stands up and waves to Ayers to follow him.
Bambino tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bambino rushes Ayers and presses him up against the cage.
Ayers is trying to break the clinch but Bambino is controlling him.

Ayers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bambino blocks it with crossed arms.
Ayers misses with a hook to the ribs.

Bambino ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bambino no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Bambino is trying to control the position but Ayers postures up.
Bambino looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ayers is one step ahead there.
Bambino bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ayers's guard.

Jon Bambino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ayers closes the distance and clinches up with Bambino, looking for a takedown. Ayers pushes Bambino against the cage but Bambino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bambino shoots for a takedown but Ayers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ayers was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Bambino shoots for a double leg takedown but Ayers sprawls well. He's pushed Bambino's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ayers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bambino circles away quickly and effectively.

Bambino wants to control but Ayers is keeping busy.

Ayers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Ayers stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Bambino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ayers pinned against the cage. Ayers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ayers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bambino tries to close the distance and clinch but Ayers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bambino changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ayers tries to avoid it but Bambino manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ayers to the ground. Ayers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bambino misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ayers.
Ayers seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bambino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ayers pinned against the cage. Ayers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ayers went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

And that's the end of the fight!
Long Ayers showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bambino has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
