The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Impala misses with the combination.
Impala throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Marsh half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Impala gets a double leg takedown into Marsh's guard.
Impala lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Impala throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Impala passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Impala looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Impala postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Marsh to stand up.
Marsh really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Impala closes the distance and clinches.
Impala stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Impala breaks from the clinch.
Impala leaves Marsh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Impala stuffs the takedown.
Impala changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Impala catches Marsh with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Marsh forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
