Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between German Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyciust Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, German Hood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyciust Cash! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hood takes the fight into the clinch. Hood ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hood no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Cash trying to control the position from guard on top but Hood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cash gets to his feet - Hood follows without any prompting. Cash misses with a head kick.
Hood seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Cash drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cash laying and praying for a moment but Hood takes advantage and regains half guard. Hood is trying to get back to full guard. Hood keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Hood is looking to control Cash's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hood avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hood is staying active underneath Cash, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cash seems to be working for a kimura but Hood defends the submission attempt. Hood controlling the position for now. Hood is defending against the submission attempts here by Cash.
Hood is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cash's back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cash covering up well and avoiding damage. Hood is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hood gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hood gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hood apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Hood clinches up against the cage. Hood tries to pull guard but Cash forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Hood has Cash pressed against the cage.
Hood really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cash looking to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hood pulls guard effortlessly. Hood keeping full guard, as Cash tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cash stopping the sweep attempt from Hood. Cash wants to control from the top but Hood keeps moving. Cash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hood is keeping the position for now. Cash working some strikes from top position. Hood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cash is looking to work some ground and pound but Hood has wrist control. Cash scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Cash is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash works a leg free and moves into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cash connects with a nice short shot to Hood's temple.
Hood is rocked! Cash maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hood could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cash has cracked it and Hood is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cash!
